close Vinyasa with Deep Relaxation This class will combine elements of vinyasa, yin and restorative joined with music to create an invigorating, relaxing and deeply restoring experience. The first hour of this class will be focused on warming and flowing sequences linked with breath, moving into a vigorous vinyasa which will heat and prepare the body for the deep stretching to follow. The final portion of class will be purely restorative and supportive, prepping the body for a blissful savasana. This class will provide the opportunity for students to bring balance to their bodies and practice through three very different but complementary styles.
close Core Vinyasa Drawing from the teachings of Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest and Sadie Nardini, this class integrates the strength and stability of core work with the fluid power of vinyasa. In this class the core is explored in creative ways that go beyond crunches and utilize all the muscles to develop more dynamic strength.
close Beginning Vinyasa This class is appropriate for those students new to yoga as well as for seasoned practitioners who feel they need to refresh their understanding of the fundamentals. Alignment and breath are the focuses of this class. Students will learn basic poses and sun salutations as well as how to build strength and flexibility.
close Vinyasa Flow Yoga combines fluid breath-synchronized movement with creative sun salutations, standing and seated postures, inversions, hip-openers and backbends. Classes are inventive and thoughtful, leaving the student both invigorated and relaxed. The focus of vinyasa flow yoga is finding ways to open and strengthen while maintaining deep breath to detoxify the mind and the body. This class will be a challenge for anyone but is suitable for all-levels; modifications will be offered for both beginning and advanced students.
close Fundamentals The Sadhana Fundamentals class is a heated, flowing style class appropriate for students who are altogether new to the practice of yoga, as well as for more experienced students who feel they need some educational “reinforcement” of the fundamental building blocks of the practice. These classes emphasize all of the basic skills necessary to support a student in creating a safe, challenging, enjoyable yoga experience and prepare them for All-Levels classes.
close Hip Hop Yoga FUN yoga accompanied by a rockin' hip hop playlist. The flow will be mostly Vinyasa with a long slow stretch at the end. This class is held in a WARM ROOM to promote detoxification and suppleness. Come ready to move and groove.
