*Structural Yoga: Structural Yoga aims to teach you about your body and how it relates to yoga poses. Inspired heavily by the work of B.K.S. Iyengar, this class moves at a slower pace (but you may find yourself working harder than ever have before!) With ample individualized instruction, Structural Yoga is your chance to work precisely on alignment, subtlety and a sense of attention.
*Yoga Ananda: Ananda आनन्द, is the Sanskrit word meaning bliss. This class combines elements of Yin and Restorative Yoga in order to unlock and release tension, and relax and harmonize the body and mind. Class begins and closes in supported postures with deep stretching sandwiched in the middle. Combining these diverse styles of yoga will prepare the body and mind for a deep, peaceful savasana. Come ready to stretch and restore. Expect to leave feeling blissed out, grounded and calm to your core. All levels welcome.
*Yin Yoga: Yin Yoga is a slower style of yoga that targets the connective tissues in the body to create more joint mobility, muscle and fascia flexibility and better circulation. This class consists of mostly floor postures, each held for a few minutes at a time. Yin Yoga is the perfect complimentary practice to more athletic, active styles of yoga and the challenges of living in a city. In addition to greater ease in the body, Yin helps to facilitate a meditative state.
*Level 2/3: A more challenging and vigorous vinyasa/hatha led yoga class focusing equally on strength and flexibility while incorporating traditional yoga postures, inversions, and more dynamic movements. Some yoga experience recommended in addition to general good health and fitness. This class is not suitable for those brand new to yoga or those with moderate to extreme health challenges.
